Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and Dollar Tree has such cute home decor finds! In this blog post, I will show your how to make 6 easy DIY Dollar Tree Valentines Day crafts plus how to decorate your home with Dollar Tree items!

1. DIY Valentines Day Wreath
For this DIY Valentines Day wreath, you will need brass wreath rings, roses, and hyacinth flowers.
I chose the largest wreath ring for this DIY, which is about 14″.
First, you need to cut all of your florals from the bushes. You can use regular scissors or shears for this. Just make sure to leave about 5 to 6″ of stem on each individual flower. Now you are ready to start placing them on your wreath!
When DIYing a wreath it’s always best to start putting the “back” decor first. So first I wrapped the hyacinth florals around the wreath on either side.
NO HOT GLUE GUN IS REQUIRED!
I used about 3 on each side so 1 bush should be enough for you!
For added interest, I chose different colored rose buds. I wrapped the lighter pink roses right below the hyacinth. And finally the dark magenta roses towards the center.
This wreath was SO EASY to make, not to mention affordable and it looks just as great as any wreath you see in stores!
2. DIY XOXO Blocks
Here is another simple yet super cute DIY Dollar Tree Valentines Day craft. All you will need are 4 wooden blocks from their craft section, some paint, stencils, and a brush!
All you are going to do is use the stencils to paint Xs and Os on your blocks.
Since my Valentine’s Day decor has a “pretty in pink” vibe I wanted pink paint. Since I didn’t have pink I just mixed my red and white to create the perfect pink color I was looking for.
I chose to do the Xs in pink and the Os in white for variety.
3. DIY Heart Table Runner
As soon as I saw these heart doilies at Dollar Tree I knew I had to do something with them. So I came up with a heart table runner!
For this project, all you will need are the doilies! I chose 2 different colors to keep with my pink and white theme. I only needed 1 pack of each color as they each bring 30 doilies!
First place 5 heart doilies in a circle, overlapping just a little in order to hot glue them together. You just need a dot of glue on each corner to hold them in place.
Then overlap these with 4 heart doilies on top, gluing them to the bottom set.
I made 5 of these and simply placed them on my dining table as a table runner!
Even though they give off a bit of a “grandma’s doilies” feel I still love the look!
4. DIY Rose Garlands
If you want a simple way to upscale your Valentine’s Day mantel then keep on reading!
For this DIY craft, all you need is floral wire and foam roses from Dollar Tree. I got the larger white foam roses and the smaller pink foam roses to create two separate garlands.
Simply poke the floral wire through the foam roses to make a garland of sorts!
You can cut and tie off the excess wire at the ends. Then place them anywhere!
These garlands are great for your mantel, dining table runner, console table, dresser, etc.
I also used these pink LED string lights over the garlands.
5. DIY Floral Love Sign
This is such a simple DIY anyone can do it!
All you will need are these sticky paper flowers and a wooden LOVE sign.
I simply stuck the paper flowers to the wooden sign, following the letters to spell LOVE.
As the name says, these flowers already come with a sticky backing so there’s no need for gluing!

Dollar Tree Valentines Day Decorative Finds And How I Styled Them
Decorating with Dollar Tree items can be simple and elegant if you know what to look for.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN DOLLAR TREE
You can find great Valentine’s Day decor at Dollar Tree as well!
First of all, avoid all the “Cute” Valentine’s Day decor such as signs. They will just end up looking cheap in your home.
And for the most part, steer away from anything glittery!
Instead use natural elements such as florals, and wooden pieces. Or high-end elements such as glass and ceramic pieces.
Don’t just stick to the seasonal decor aisles. Look for pieces in the craft section, the candle section, and the floral section.
HOW I STYLED DOLLAR TREE VALENTINES DAY DECOR
Here are some extra pieces that I got and styled throughout my home.
For example, just a few rose bushes in a vase is enough to create a romantic feel in your home.
NOTE: The faux hydrangeas are from Amazon.
This ceramic heart-shaped candle holder looks great on my kitchen tray. And it comes in different colors!
A wooden LOVE sign will look beautiful just as it or you can paint it white for contrast.
These glass candle holders on top of a round mirror add an elegant touch to any tabletop. I placed more rose stems instead for a soft touch.
And these gold pedestal candle holders give added height to my dining table setting.
These wooden heart bamboo sticks are the perfect little touch to a coffee bar or for a Valentine’s Day charcuterie!
As you can see, it’s all in the details. Your home doesn’t have to SCREAM Valentines Day, instead, aim for a subtle, romantic, and pretty vibe.
