Unfortunately, the Passage of the Unbound has stolen the artifact, and Tsuuhe's daughter, Tepeke, has gone in search of it.

Follow after Tepeke to Radz-at-Han, and speak to the Turali Swordswoman in the West Balshahn Bazaar. Next, head to Yedlihmad and talk to Tepeke, then head north to Kadjaya's Footsteps and search for the Radiant Host Soldier at the designated location.

This will initiate a search; zoom all the way in and move the camera to the left to find the fallen Radiant Host Soldier. This will start a cutscene; speak to the soldier and watch his flashback involving the Justiciar. After that, speak to Tepeke again to complete this quest.

Start this quest by speaking to Tepeke in her usual spot in Yedlihmad, then travel to Radz-at-Han to gather information from three youths around the west side of the map. Next, go to Mehryde's Meyhane in Radz-at-Han and talk to Zasshal, a merchant with whom you've had previous dealings.

After getting information from Zasshal, speak with Tepeke in the East Balsdahn Bazaar, then travel to Palaka's Stand and talk to Tepeke again. Wait at the designated location to keep an eye out for any youths trying to leave the village.

Now, you'll need to follow the young man without being detected. He will stop and turn around at certain points. The first time he turns around is just after going up the stairs out of the village; hide behind the stone wall to avoid being detected. He will turn around again right after he says "I made it!"; there's a tree nearby to hide behind.

The destination is just a bit further; stand in the glowing blue area to complete the trailing mission and proceed into a cutscene. After this cutscene, talk to Tepeke outside the canals, then return to Yedlihmad and talk to her again to complete this quest.

Tepeke - Thavnair (X:35.7, Y:34.0)

After accepting the quest from Tepeke, head north to Giantsgall Grounds, then speak to Tepeke again to enter an instanced Duty.

The battle will begin with Virazahn using the Perch of the Apex to call down stones, creating multiple sets of circle AoEs around the arena. He will then target Tepeke with an AoE Tankbuster; stay away from her to avoid getting hit by it.

After a few more sets of circle AoEs, Virazahn will cast Aqua Vitae, healing himself over time. He will then use Art of Nature, which summons a group of enemies, before becoming untargetable. While dealing with the adds, Tepeke will be marked with a Stack Marker; group up with her to split its damage.

Additionally, more circle AoEs will fall while these enemies are alive, and one of them will also target you and Tepeke with AoE Markers. Stay away from Tepeke while avoiding the falling rocks. Once this group of enemies is defeated, Virazahn will rejoin the fight.

Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail - Magical DPS Role Quests Guide (9)

After dealing a bit more damage to Virazahn, his armor will completely break, and he will cast Perch of the Apex. This will create a Proximity AoE in the center of the arena, followed by moving circle AoEs from the sides of the arena. Move to the edge of the arena to reduce the damage of the Proximity AoE, then avoid the moving AoEs.

The moving AoEs, falling circle AoEs, and the Tankbuster will repeat, followed by a repeat of Art of Nature and another set of moving AoEs. Once again, during this add phase, stack up with Tepeke when necessary. Additionally, this time two Proximity AoEs will go off at the same time, move near Virazahn to reduce the damage of both.

Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail - Magical DPS Role Quests Guide (10)

After yet another set of adds, moving AoEs, and AoE Markers, Tepeke will cast Barkscore and take down Virazahn. However, this will cause the artifact to lose control. Now, you'll need to damage the Perch of the Apex while it repeatedly deals roomwide AoE damage and causes falling rocks to hit the arena.

Additionally, it will gain a stacking damage buff the longer the fight continues, so you'll need to take it down quickly before you're overwhelmed. Once the Perch of the Apex's health has been depleted, the duty will be complete.

After defeating Virazahn and watching the cutscene, speak to Tepeke, then return to Tuliyollal and speak to Tsuuhe to complete the final quest!
