Employee Engagement

Written By Guest User

Have you planned your June employee experience ideas?

An exceptional employee experience means employees are more likely to be engaged, which leads to improvement in collaboration, innovation, growth, retention, and attraction.

Employee experience activities such as learning lunches, workplace celebrations and employee-led clubs can significantly boost team morale and productivity.

Each month, WRK+ will share with you an engagement, wellness, diversity, and ESG activity idea to inspire and give you ideas of what can be done with your team this month.

Engagement Initiative
EOFY Month

The last 12 months have been a stressful time for many Australians.

Rising interest rates, input prices, and cost of living have put pressure on individuals and businesses.

Making sure to mark the date EOFY and celebrate with your team helps you show reward and recognition for all their hard work throughout the year.

A special lunch or after-work drinks is the traditional option, but for something a little different this year, why not plan something where your employees can let off some steam, like an amazing race in your local city, or an escape room experience with a reward for the winning team. Choosing a venue away from the office generally allows for a better vibe.

Incorporating recognition awards allows you to acknowledge their achievements and success.

Diversity Initiative
Pride Month

Every June, Australia celebrates the diversity and achievements of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and intersex community.

The workplace is a place we spend most of our adult lives and, as a result, it plays a key role in creating equality and a more inclusive world for LGBTQI+ people.

Although we’ve come a long way in establishing LGBTQI+ rights and inclusion, we still have a way to go to abolish ignorance, harassment and discrimination in society.

WRK+ can help you approach this topic with a range of products:

  • Pronouns statement workshop

  • DEI strategy plan

  • Creating psychological safety at work plan

Wellbeing Initiative
Men’s Health Week

10-16thJune 2024

Men frequent their local GP less often than women, and unfortunately, this leads to a higher rate of men suffering from lifestyle-related health conditions compared to women.

Raising awareness of men's health issues hopes to give men the courage to speak up and take positive actions in their prevention, encouraging early detection and treatment.

You can help support this important cause by raising awareness inside the workplace. Offering health screenings such as blood pressure, or cholesterol, or offer workshops with medical professionals throughout the week on topics like reducing stress, removing the stigma around mental health, quitting smoking, and heart health.

You can support your employees this June by offering them free access to the award-winning app, WithU, which features 100s of health tips to help them make positive changes in their everyday life.
