What is the income limit for Louisiana Healthcare Connections? ›

When you enroll in Medicaid, you can choose Louisiana Healthcare Connections as your health plan. You may qualify for Medicaid if you are: Are age 19-64 and make less than 138% of the Federal Poverty Level (about $16,000 for a single person living alone, or about $33,000 for a family of four.

If you are having a health emergency, you should call 911. In an emergency, ambulance transportation is covered by Louisiana Healthcare Connections.

Does Louisiana Healthcare Connections cover hearing aid? ›

Members under age 21 already receive vision services. @ More Adult Hearing Benefits: One annual hearing exam and one hearing aid every two years for members 21 and older.

Effective January 1, 2024, beneficiaries ages 21 and older enrolled with Louisiana Healthcare Connections for physical health benefits will no longer have access to dental services as a value-added benefit. Coverage ends December 31, 2023, so all services must be completed before that date.
